[Oh, Sonic liked that noise. He gives Shadow a smug grin, but it melts away into something a little less mischievous when Evangeline scritches his ear.]

Sure thing! We'll bring the pizza, make a day out of it!

[Shadow glares a little but he lets it pass. He nods. He cannot tell her no. Or Sonic, for that matter. Not like this.]

Very well. We can bring chocolate as well. And other fun things. Pizza too. We will definitely do this again.

Fantastic. I'm already full of ideas for what we could do.

[Next time she'll teach them about spitroasting! It'll be fun!]

[She hasn't had enough Sonic smooches yet! Shadow's been hogging them.]

[Sonic gives Evangeline a smooch on the lips, not too quick but he doesn't linger too long either since he has a job to do. After a moment he zips from the room to retrieve a couple glasses of water, and then walks back into the room with them like a normal person so he doesn't spill them and hands them off to Evangeline and Shadow.]

Here we go! Just let me know if you need anything else, more smooches, a snack, whatever.

[Shadow takes the water and drinks some. He looks at Evangeline and back at Sonic.]

Give us both more kisses then. [He grabs Sonic by the back of the head, careful of his quills, and pulls him into a kiss.]

[Evangeline drinks her water and watches Shadow kiss Sonic with a wide smile.]

You two are cute together.

[Sonic will allow this manhandling, enthusiastically kissing Shadow back while being careful not to knock the water out of Shadow's hand. Not that these sheets didn't already need to be changed on account of, y'know, the bangin', but still. after Evangeline's comment Sonic breaks the kiss but stays right up in Shadow's grill, mostly because Shadow has him by the head.]

You hear that? She said we're cute!

[Of course he has to go and ruin it by planting his hands on either side of Shadow's face and smooshing his cheeks.]

[Shadow did have something to say about that but then his cheeks are smooshed and anything he was trying to say comes out muffled. His expression turns flat. Seriously, Sonic. What is it with you and his cheeks?]

[Oh no. Evangeline tries her best not to laugh.]

[Shadow's cheeks are very smooshable, deal with it.

Alas, Sonic will spare him and stop smooshing his cheeks, opting instead to reach up and rub one of his ears.]

Oh? I didn't realize there was more than one kind of cute.

I am the Ultimate Lifeform. I am not cute.

[Then that damn ear rubbing starts and he purrs softly. Shut up. It isn't cute purring. It's ultimate purring.]

I think being the Ultimate Lifeform should make you the Cutest Lifeform. Along with Most Handsome Lifeform and a bunch of other things.

I dunno man, her logic is pretty sound. As the Ultimate Lifeform, it only makes sense that you were supposed to be the best at everything!

[Including purrs. Listen to him go, he's a precious schmoopsey woopsey and nobody can say otherwise, not even Shadow.

Speaking of ear rubbing, while Sonic is destroying Shadow's image as a badass edgelord by hitting his weak spot for massive damage, he turns to Evangeline.]

Do humans like their ears being touched like this? It's not something I've ever heard about.
