[Evangeline's house is pretty normal looking! It has a Lot of bookshelves, the biggest sign that a big nerd lives here, but otherwise it's pretty standard.]

Part of me kind of wishes I'd asked for advice sooner? But I guess I don't really know what I would have even asked. This thing with Shadow kinda came out of nowhere, and I'm not used to being blindsided like this.

When people make a big deal out of it, it makes it more intimidating than it already is. That doesn't help anybody.

Will do, and yeah, that's a good way to think about it. I'm hoping I can get my brain on the same level as that soon, having internal panics about it every time it comes up is exhausting.

That is reassuring. It's just jarring going from someone who never cared or thought about this sort of thing to suddenly everything all at once. I've never even seen a boob before, and here I am about to go out and buy butt accessories. Feels like I'm jumping in the deep end, which is always fun because I can't swim! But I'm doing it anyway because I have no sense of self preservation.
