Besides 'I love you'? Ummmm. I guess Louis did teach me one, but it was translating his poetry for me, so it wasn't exactly something useful...

Oh, right! He told me he wrote you poetry. He woke me up at 3 AM to send me some and I thought they were lyrics and I was supposed to write a song.

Oh - oh no, I'm sure he didn't mean to wake you up, he probably expected you to read them later...

[Rinku rubs the back of her head.]

Yeah, he kept telling me to go back to bed. It was really nice, though! It was about the sun and someone who made the world happy, even people who felt unloved!

That sounds exactly like you. -It feels nice having someone write all those nice things about you, doesn't it? At least, it did for me.

[Rinku smiles and nuzzles.]

Yeah, it really does! I didn't even realize it was about me at first, but it must've been. I really gotta do something nice for him now.

You should! He deserves people being nice to him. I try to spoil him as much as I can but it's good when other people do, too.

Spoil him, huh... I guess I could talk about bugs, he seems to like that a lot.

You should! Gifts related to bugs, he treasures those a lot, too.

-Oh, and summer gets mantises as a transformation. He likes that too.

Oh, yeah! Turning into a mantis is fun. Turning into lots of things is fun. What's your favourite transformation?

Probably hummingbird for me? I feel super maneuverable, I can do all kinds of tricks.

I bet he'd think that was cool. He talked a lot about light and stuff in the poem. Maybe it's because I glow?

This is lovely. I definitely would've called you a ball of sunshine even before you started glowing, but Louis has way more of a way with words than I do.

[She pulls up her notes app on her phone and hands it to Rinku, where "Louis poem 1" and "Louis poem 2" are pinned to the top.

These probably have a similar level of intensity to the Rinku poem.]

Wow... The first one's like you're all nature, and the second one's... religion? I don't know a lot of that, but it's really cool! He obviously thinks you're really good, which makes sense because you're the best.

Yeah, I don't really get religion either, we don't have much of it at home... But he's definitely - devoted to me, he says.
