Pretty much. Unless you're somebody who hurt his loved ones, then he's very not nice. But otherwise - yeah, he's just like that.

Not ever. I've got a few gifts from him and haven't lost my soul yet. -I've met his daughter and she would absolutely kick his ass if he tried anything like that, if he didn't kick his own ass first.
