Still, I think it's cool! You must take tons of quests if you're always ready for them.

That's not the reason I wear EGO, but it does help when I want to make some extra money.

It sounds like it. I took a quest that was just shopping for some old ladies, and then Hijikata-san and I had to fight this big demon guy! And I didn't have my armour! I still had my ribbon stick, though, so it was okay.

Not that much! It was way worse against those big vine guys, and I had to fall back so I didn't get hurt too bad. Starting to turn to stone is terrifying! I want to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone even more now!!!

That's why I didn't stay when it got bad... I screwed up, huh? Sorry.

You're just starting to be ready for fighting quests at all, you're definitely not ready for the high danger ones. Even I think twice before taking those.

Okay... But the demon thing was way easier! Training with you is harder than that! Although I guess part of that is I was with someone really strong, but still.

That's probably a way bigger part than anything else.

You don't have to dive right into the deep end of the pool when you're still learning to swim.

No, it's okay! I'd get worried too! I mean, I'm worried anyway. About dying. And about getting yelled at.

I don't think you have to be too worried about turning to stone except in unusual circumstances.

But there just were those!! And it's scary! I got all heavy and stiff and when I took my armour off a whole big chunk of me was rocks!

Oh, yeah, I guess you haven't had training not to panic when immobilized. We'll cover that next time I guess.

It's pretty common. Enough to come up in training.

Training is supposed to be scary. That way you get over being scared before you encounter the dangerous thing for real.
