At L Corp, you pretty much have to know how to use whatever weapon is available and useful against whatever happens to be breaching containment at the time. If you don't at least have a melee and a ranged option and both red and white damage available for each then you're a liability. Do people just specialize in one weapon, where you're from?
Red damage affects the body. White damage affects the mind. Some Abnormalities are resistant to one or the other. There's also pale damage, which affects the soul, but those weapons are rarer and you have to be a pretty high level employee to handle them.
We have managerial notes for reference, but most employees have them memorized. Since it also covers how to work with Abnormalities, what types of work produce the most energy versus what risks a breach or causes instant death to employees... It's the kind of thing you only forget once.
For sure! I can definitely handle myself against most of the monsters in the Segments. And, do you remember when people were transforming because of being experimented on and getting violent? It's great experience for calming supernatural entities down.
I'm glad we have you on our side, with out experience and knowledge. I doubt my werewolf curse becomes a problem, but at least I know I have one more person to help me calm down if it ever does.

I hope you'll find use for it and if you need tips on how to use a sword, you can always ask me.

Mostly we focus on the omnidirectional gear, but we do get basic training with rifles and combat knives. At least in the military.

The more I learn about your work, the more I honestly admire that you're able to do that. Surely the experience from it has been useful here, too?
