Well, I mean. Sure pearls would be nice, but I don't think they would make me that much happier to have? If it was something I really, really thought would improve my life, I would get it for myself, but if it's just a luxury it might not feel worth it.

Gifting you is different. I love you, everything is worth it if it's for you.

But just know that if you can afford them, you're allowed to own luxuries merely because you enjoy them. They needn't improve your life.

[He wouldn't even pause long enough to think it through, really. He'd just be there, and THAT'S when he'd realize he probably fast-traveled out of something he shouldn't have.

Weighted it is, then. ... And I'll start learning that fast travel ability, too - if only so I can be "on hand", so to speak, when you need me.
It would be useful, anyway - I like using my bike to get around, but many districts in Nightwake just aren't made with wheels in mind.

You certainly make it look easy... I must admit, I'm worried about "fast-traveling" into a wall or something equally as harrowing.
A bit like a glitch in a video game, but messier.

... If I could just use my bike wherever I wish, that would be so much easier.

Okay, this might be stupid, but given the ridiculous technology and magic levels available, maybe you could get your bike modified to fly? Then it really wouldn't matter what the roads were like.

I... could potentially make it fly. Couldn't I? If I were to tap into the bike's Remnant, perhaps... or possibly buy a second Remnant from home?
