Seasons Powers
Evangeline is originally a normal human, but having spent years in a magic-focused game has a way of making you pick up extra powers!
EGO Suit
This applies to meme threads as well as game threads, but Evangeline's EGO suit provides resistance against damage against her body, mind, and soul. She's not immune to weapons by any means, but she can shrug off a lot more attacks, and she's resilient against things like mind control. It's more effective than the best body armor the City's best technology can make.
Her EGO gifts also provide a small boost in work speed and efficiency, though it's small enough not to go beyond what a normal human could do.
The downside is that if her mental stability falls under a certain threshold, the lingering willpower of the Abnormality her suit was made from will take over, induce a body horror transformation, and lash out indiscriminately at her surroundings until she gets a hold of herself. So, you know! Just don't ever snap!
Seasonal Powers
Evangeline has been here long enough to master all of the original Summer powers and start working on the others!
● Fire manipulation (Manipulate existing fire. The ability lets the user control the shape and direction of the fire as well as put it out with enough practice. Able to lift fire in the air and hold it there.)
● Fire creation (User creates their own fire and has complete control over what it does, including automatically be able to just put it out. Able to levitate fire in the air.)
● Make fire harmless (changes color) (Her color is a brighter red, but it's close to fire's natural color. Two people can have the same color. User cannot manipulate the fire through the ability, but fire manipulation can be used at the same time.)
● Make fire into weapons (Make fire look like a weapon and hold it without getting burned. When monsters/others touch the weapons they burn. If a character doesn't think about a weapon, the ability selects a fitting weapon for the character (scythe).)
● Fire breathe (The ability to breathe fire like air. The user doesn't burn their mouth or throat by doing so, but it might leave their mouth unnaturally hot for a while.)
● Lava (The ability to both create and manipulate lava. Does not protect the user from the effects of lava if they get it on themselves.)
● Temperature control: hot (Controls the temperature around the user, making it feel either less or more warm. The temperature can't go under +5 Celsius/41 degrees Fahrenheit. Also helps regulate the user's own body temperature, making them able to withstand warm atmosphere better or making them warmer in the colder climates. May make the user feel hot to touch.)
● Walk through fire (The ability to walk through any fire unharmed. Makes the user also immune to fire attacks and burn effects. Ability lasts for up to 5 hours per use.)
● Brightness never blinds (No matter how bright it gets the user is able to see perfectly normally and not be blinded. Passive ability.)
● Identify a disease on sight (The user is able to look at someone and determine if they're ill and what the disease is by focusing their magical energy. With enough practice they can also identify curses. Can become a partially passive ability.)
● Minor/Temporary shapeshifting (partial) (The user can change a part of their body to look different (for ex. the length of their hair or the color of their eyes). These cosmetic changes are temporary and turn back to normal eventually. Only five different things can be changed at the same time. The less changes made the longer they remain. Changes lasts up to 12 hours.)
● Telekinesis (The user can lift objects (or monsters, animals, people) in the air. The amount they can lift increases with how much magical energy they have. Multiple things can lifted at the same time but it's very taxing on the person doing so.)
● Immune to most poisons (Immune to most of the existing poisons, but less likely work on a mixture of different ones. Also works on alcohol and food poisonings. Passive ability.)
● Remove rot from things (Make anything that has rot in in revert back to health. Any food will once again be safe to eat (but are likely still "overripe"). Requires physical contact.)
● Extend/Elastic limbs (The users' limbs are able to grow longer in size, making the feel almost like rubber. Does not damage the users muscles or bones as they will be protected by the magic. Max. length five times the size of their normal limbs.)
● Permanent cosmetic changes (partial shape shifting) (The user can permanently change any part of their body to look different. The magic will remember what they originally looked like and it's easier to return back to their old look with the same ability. Only makes cosmetic changes.)
● Completely/Speed rot living material (The ability speeds the process of something rotting, even if there would be no signs of it originally. Works even on corpses and the "living dead". Requires physical contact.)
● Complete shapeshifting (The ability to completely change the way the user looks. This ability even includes changing their gender. The change can be permanent or can be easily reverted back to their old self.)
● Hyperfocus on task at hand (The ability guarantees that the user will focus on only on the thing they set their mind on. It will even make them work faster on it. The user will even have a protective shield around them to stop anyone from interfering with their work.)
● Earth manipulation (Manipulate the earth/soil/rocks. The user is able to crack the ground or fix the cracks with their powers and dig without tools. Able to lift pieces of earth in air and keep them there.)
● Earth creation (Create earth/soil/rocks and have complete control over it. Able to levitate pieces of earth in the air.)
● Water manipulation (Manipulate existing bodies of water. Does not change the water temperature, just controls the shape and how it moves. Able to draw water out of plants/trees. Also able to lift water in the air and hold it there.)
● Water creation (Create water. Usually freshwater, but salt water can be learned as well with additional magical focus. Able to levitate created water in the air.)
● Wind manipulation (Manipulate existing winds. Controls the direction of the wind and what shape it takes, but can't be manipulated into "sharp" wind.)
● Wind creation (Create gusts of wind. It's a cold breeze by default, but the user will be able to manipulate it to be a warmer.)
● Fast travel (Much like fast travel in MMO's - user just think of a place they've visited before and then they "jump" there from wherever they are. May make the user feel dizzy at first until they get used to it. User is less likely to feel dizzy the shorter the traveled distance is. Doesn't work inside. Max. distance is from one end of the Segment to another (~a week's worth of travel of foot).)
Dragon Blessed Abilities
These ones she's only really just started!
● Full Shapeshift (Non-Cosmetic) (Shapeshift fully inside and out, including things like instincts and biological processes. Can be used to make previously cosmetic changes full.)
● Fire Wings (Create a set of wings that will allow the user to fly. They are also able to use the wings to attack enemies and also absorb fire attacks. The wing shape can be chosen freely. The wings do attach to the user's back but they don't burn the user or their clothes.)
● Light Creation (Create light. By default will begin as a warm ball of light, but can be directed into any shape or direction, including an aura around the user.)
● Create Illusions (Use light to create holographic illusions.)
Animal Forms
Evangeline is extremely adept at shapeshifting! Here are some forms or partial forms she's taken in the past onscreen, though she has practiced others:
● Domestic Cat
● Snake
● Hummingbird
● Shark
● Octopus
Master/Servant
Evangeline is the Master of the Servant Barghest (
houndofmanchester). She has three Command Spells on the back of her hand, though she usually hides them with shapeshifting, that allow her to give absolute orders or to boost Barghest's abilities. She can communicate with Barghest telepathically, and Barghest will be aware if she dies or is cut off from her somehow.
Potion of the Dragon Lord
From the shop page: "Grants the user the ability to turn into a dragon. The dragon shape and size depends on the person. They will be able to control one of the four main elements (water, air, fire, earth). The element doesn't have to be related to their seasonal abilities. Additionally, they will be able to quick travel long distances twice per day. They will also have a strong resistance to Darkness in this form."
Evangeline's dragon form is a large purple and blue dragon with starry patterns on her wings.
Potion of New Powers - Grim Reaper
Evangeline has acquired powers from Chipp (
fauxbot) that match the color of her soul - her soul is indigo, so she gets powers largely related to instincts.
● She can sense danger before it happens.
● She can speak to animals, as well as to monsters (though it's more difficult with monsters).
● She can turn into a flock of animals instead of just one.
● She can sense souls. Detail is inversely proportional to range: Evangeline's range is about the size of a football stadium, so she can tell you about how many people are in a given area but can't tell anything about them by looking.
Shadow Magic
She's only really just starting learning shadow magic from Macaque (
castaside). Eventually she'll be able to do incredible things with it like portals, making tangible objects, making clones of herself, etc. etc. but at the moment all she can do is make existing shadows move.
