I owe a lot to them. Even though I grew up in a dangerous world in a bad situation, they raised me with love. They'd like you a lot.

People have asked if I'd want to stay here if I had the choice, and I do - but I'd feel guilty abandoning my family to live a peaceful life while they stayed in danger.

My family hasn't been around in a long time, but I've felt similarly guilty for leaving others behind.

I'm not really sure how to speak on that. You could call it cowardly, perhaps, but I think your peace is worth preserving. Either way, you're here, and you can't control whether you come or go.

Just try to enjoy the time you have and the life it gives you while you can. That's what I say.
