[Hearing that first part does comfort her. Of course, they all would want to run away from it all at times. How could they not? Getting confirmation that the cannibal cooks were real, though, sends a shiver down her spine despite the warm air at the beach. No one should have to remember "the closest cannibal restaurant to my house"!!]

The way-- the way those cooks wouldn't even kill us before turning us into meat--

[There's so much upset in her voice, but also anger. How can anybody be so cruel?! But she's seen that kind of apathy for the suffering of others in her inherited memories. Humans have a terrifying capacity for emotionally detaching themselves from those around them. Still, she wishes those people were punished somehow.]

This is common knowledge, right? How can anyone patronise those restaurants?

[Already, she can think of several reasons. Perhaps, there's no other source of protein.]
