It's nice to have a stable income source that doesn't change every couple of months. Not that I think you'd struggle with most quests, but not having to rely on them counts for something.

What do you do when you're dating someone now but you can't announce it because they want the fact they exist to be a secret but also it used to be a secret from everyone and you're pretty sure it isn't anymore because they've gone out in public, you even went on what you're pretty sure is a date once or twice and they said they visited you in the hospital, but it's still a secret from one specific person, and you can't ask them what to do about telling people because they were out too long and have to go away for a while and they promised they'd tell you the next time they were out but ????

Yes, this definitely does seem like the sort of power this place would just give to people... I suppose it has its benefits, though it's strange that you'd be given an entirely cosmetic power such as this.
All of mine have been... well, it feels rude to say useful, a power like this has use, but none of mine have been purely cosmetic.

I wouldn't call shapeshifting cosmetic, exactly... such a power is intended for stealth, isn't it? Sneaking and the like.

I don't mind it, but shapeshifting is faster and easier, and sometimes I'm in a rush? Plus I can do things like alter my hair length at will.
