Evangeline works for Lobotomy Corporation, unofficial motto: "Your Power Bill Is Lower Now, Don't Ask Questions." It's a company that does work with extremely dangerous Abnormalities in order to generate energy. The fatality rate is incredibly high and Evangeline has seen more of her coworkers die in monster-related ways than she can count.

So now she smooches monsters instead of humans. They're more interesting anyway and way less likely to die on her. Besides, she was a specialist in seeing to Abnormalities' social needs anyway, this is basically more of the same.

Evangeline is straightforward about what she likes and will happily flirt with anyone monstrous - the further from human the better - but she also is very conscious of boundaries and will back off at the first sign her advances aren't wanted. She's enthusiastic, energetic, and a genuinely kind person living in a dystopian hellcity.
